Sharing our outstanding achievements of 2010

Introduction:

Hangar 17 ICT has so far been popular in outsourcing professional web design, development and web-marketing in French speaking countries. Its team is dedicated in continuing the hard work and is structured as follows:

Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress: (Arun, Ezhil, KrushnaKumari & Satheesh)
2010 has seen an increase in the number of projects we have managed. We re-organized our teams competently to work on each CMS and we implemented new working procedures. We prepared new case studies of each version, modules and effective add-ons.

Our major achievements were to deliver error-free websites on different browsers and to have quiet number of interesting codes for each website which already existed in old version and needed to be updated.

Magento and Prestashop: (Nirmal Kumar, Mozhi, VithyaLega & Elakkiya)
We found that the majority of businesses in Europe started their new online shop with the help of Magento and Prestashop. We as a group have delivered successful online shopping websites following individual business requirements.

Our team spent time discussing each CMS and dealt with a great number of case studies within very strict time scales. Our major achievement was to complete the projects within these time scales.

PHP & Zend Framework: (Balaji, Nagamuthu, Senthil, Aroune Ravi, Sankaranand & Sankari)
We had two kinds of big projects in this group. Each team member had to concentrate on their respective assigned task and complete it. Because of the length of the project we scheduled checks up on a monthly basis to make sure we were all up to date. We also developed friendly features on each new module for the viewers to enjoy.

The major challenge we faced and dealt with as we progressed was the Database & UI.

Quality Process: (Ravichandran)
Checking quality at each stage of the project is essential to avoid errors on the end product. Quality checks were organized for each project and developers were notified of changes to ensure a smooth progression.

I had to handle a long list of errors and I learnt how to handle Q/C for each projects.

Web Design: (Mohammed Rafi)
Web design is the core part of any business such as ours I have been much busier than last year and I have had to work on different themes, animation and different types of categories. I interacted with customer requirements and created design to customers’ satisfaction.
This year, there were many new concepts introduced on the market. I took notice of them and used them in almost all my projects. It has enabled me to learn a lot and be effective.

Internet Marketing: (Amsaraj & Sivasankari Arun)
We worked on making companied more visual to web users. We were pleased with three new projects even though there was huge updation from major search engines; we adapted the new concepts and worked on all the projects successfully.

Project Director: (Frederic)
The main challenges we face are related to the understanding of requirements, the management of tight deadlines, and the communication process. As teams here in India have demonstrated their technical capacity to handle any kind of projects in web technologies, the step ahead is to give perfect satisfaction to our customer. This is where, I have been happy to bring my experience in project management and knowledge of European’s customers’ expectations, being the bridge that makes our clients to feel that they are working next door.

Administration: (Krishna & Priya Muthulakshmi)
As the administration part of our Company, we worked to give each employee a positive working environment. We got quality certification ISO 9001:2008 in March 2010 followed with the Company name registered under STPI (Software Technology Park of India). We have successfully surveyed our employees with the objectives of identifying job satisfaction levels.
Each and every moment of working in Hangar 17 ICT gives us great pleasure.

Conclusion:
2010 was a busy year for Hangar 17, but in spite of the economic downfall on the European market Hangar 17 has gone and is going from strength to strength.
