Joomla 1.6: Designed to offer a better user control of website and user management

Joomla is an open source Content Management System (CMS), popular and used from small firm to big organizations. Joomla can be use by any person without knowledge of programming, and it makes easy to handle the websites. Joomla is in competition with the fellow CMSs Drupal and WordPress for long time and remains it familiar among all.

Despite its success, Joomla has little weakness on existing versions of accessing permissions (website control) and user managements. However the latest version Joomla 1.6 designed to offer a better control of site and get more user management experience.

The new version designed with features and capabilities of hierarchical design of the access control system, semantic XHTML layouts, easy to extension updates and multilingual functionality.

Hierarchical design: This feature allows the site administrators and content creators, user-defined category levels for the creation of a category tree with as many or as levels for organizing articles and other content as needed.

Access Control System: The new features allows site Administrators to control over who can view and manage content

Semantic XHTML Layouts: This features allows to provide better content presentations

One-Click extension updates
: Allows users to keep sites secured and controlled by simplifying the process of updating extension


Additionally, both developers and implementers will have enjoyment in allowing extensions to build with granular control and permissions to make it easier to create more advanced, enterprise-focused and extensions for Joomla.
